All lives matter, and it should be American History month… (As to not be calling out one race over another)
The state of racial relations in the United States has been the highlight of the news cycle for quite some time. From Trayvon Martin, to Ferguson, to Eric Garner, the sensitivity of the relationship between blacks and law enforcement has been thrust into the national spotlight.
This trend continued when a Virginia police officer and his wife became frustrated with a high school black history event entitled “Black Lives Matter.”
