I just don’t get why the black community support the democratic ticket…. Republicans, as history shows, Freed the slaves, voted for there human rights, yet republicans are treated and represented as the slave owners…
The democrats have a much better publicity machine, they know how to get there message out. I figure its because when you tell the truth, its not as flashy as taking a lie and trying to make it sound good. So democrats are better at lies, because that’s all they do, so they know how to spin in to sound good…
I’m not saying republicans don’t lie, they sure do, they just are not as good as it as the democrats. So they have to choices as republicans, they can learn to lie better, making them democrats, or they can learn how to tell the truth better. I like the second choice, but it seems most republicans like the first…
On September 28, 1868, a mob of Democrats massacred nearly 300 African-American Republicans in Opelousas, Louisiana. The savagery began when racist Democrats attacked a newspaper editor, a white Republican and schoolteacher for ex-slaves. Several African-Americans rushed to the assistance of their friend, and in response, Democrats went on a “Negro hunt,” killing every African-American (all of whom were Republicans) in the area they could find. An American Point of View 
According to Wiki, they were actually opposed to black democrats rather than black republicans. Their original motivation was to terrorize black democrats, forcing them to leave the democratic party and join the republicans. When a republican newspaper covered the story, they switched targets. Of course, to compare this incident to the social/political climate today is impossible. It’s apples to oranges. The parties today are enormously different than they were in the 1960s. Ultimately, these people were motivated by hate, not politics.
