BERLIN, Germany – A recent study in Germany reveals that students exposed to Nazi propaganda still hold anti-Semitic beliefs seven and eight decades later.
Research recently published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that Germans who were educated during the Third Reich are significantly more likely to hold anti-Semitic beliefs than other generations, IsraelNationalNews.com reports.
According to a survey of 5,300 respondents in 264 locations in 1996 and 2006, about 10 percent of those exposed to Nazi propaganda during school identified themselves as “extreme” anti-Semites, while only 5 percent of the general population use that label, according to the site.
