A University of Michigan fraternity is being disbanded after some of its members were involved in vandalism at ski resorts in Northern Michigan.

The Sigma Alpha Mu International Board says in a release Tuesday that it also voted to permanently suspend the charter in Ann Arbor.

The board says chapter officers refused to identify members who damaged the hotel property and that those responsible for the damage have not come forward. It also calls the behavior of those involved “abhorrent.”
