It is always nice to read positive stories….
Cops have a thankless job. They put their lives on the line in attempt to preserve law, order and safety- and for that, they’re seemingly slandered more often than thanked.
Recently- and especially since last August, cops have received a great deal of national attention. Much of this attention has been negative and undeserved. In some cases this has led people to form unwarranted opinions of law enforcement, regardless of any and all facts. In other cases, it’s contributed to police confrontations that haven’t ended well for the assailant or the officer.
So it’s always good to bring attention to cops when they not only do their job, but go above and beyond to help people- if for no other reason, to attempt to balance the constant negativity people see and hear regarding those who’re entrusted to ensure the safety of their communities.
