I have noticed a few things over the past few months on my Facebook and other social feeds, all of my Obama supporting friends have been quiet, No postings about how great he is, not twitters about his amazing plan for America, nothing…. Could it be that maybe with all his scandals (Scandal list here) they have decided to keep quiet?
Are we witness to a saint in the making? Pope Francis seems to be, even the Holy Sprit visits him (Pope & Dove here). I really do like Pope Francis, he seems to be the real deal, he reminds me of JPII, he like people. I am sure that Pope Benedict liked people, but he was not a people person, Pope Francis seems to be of the people. Good sign for the Catholic Church and Christians over all. Say a prayer for him today…
ADHD, the new medical scandal that’s not new. I have always said that ADHD was nothing but a babysitting drug, used by parents and teachers to control kids and used by the drug companies to make money. And now it seems the truth is coming out (ADHD Truth here). We have drug our kids not for there benefit, but for ours, and in doing so, we have created a culture of medicating emotions and creativity. Its time we stop this madness and learn to deal with it. I would most likely have been placed on ADHD medication when I was a youth, I was and still am a day dreamer, and keeping my attention in school was not easy, the big windows to the outside world were calling to me and my imagination. Thank God they didn’t invent ADHD back them!
How come politicians cant write a bill that deals with whatever issue is at hand, take for example the Border Security issue, the current bill being proposed by the Senate is filled with pork, such as subsidy for Las Vegas travel (Vegas Pork here). Really, this has something to do with securing our nations borders? Or just the simple fact that the bill is being rushed through… That is never a good thing, think ObamaCare
Speaking of ObamaCare, has anyone noticed that a bill that promised to cut our out of pocket expenses is now predicted to raise our payout? (Look here). Once again, how can any bill, never even read, be passed?
I am so sick of all the Climate Change, Global Warming crap, I remember when I was in school that we were told we would be in another Ice Age by this time… So now its Global Warming, and when that didn’t work out they changed the name to Global Climate Change… Really… That why hasn’t the earth gotten warmer like they said it would? The latest data states that we are basically at “0” change for the last 15 years…(At "0") WOW, that sounds like Global Climate Change to me… When will people wake up? Yes we have a responsibility to the earth, BUT making up stories and lying about it will not make people more responsible, the truth shall set you free, free to make educated decisions about yourself and the world you live in, and how to best care for the earth we all share.
