The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution, a book by Kevin R. C. Gutzman, J.D., Ph.D.
I have just finished this 221 page review of Constitutional Law (Or lack of). Mr. Gutzman takes you from the writing of the document to present day, showing the abuse and out right contempt for the founding fathers and the framers of the greatest document man has ever written (The Bible was written by man, but inspired by God). A document that was meant to guarantee our liberty and our statehood, yet the Supreme Court, from day one, has circumvented the intent to insure that their own political agenda, and the that of the states or people, were made law. Activist judges have been an issue and continue to be an issue that places our republic on shaky ground.
The great experiment of the United States of America started off with a revolution and we continue to fight this revolution to this day. Our enemies may have changed, but our purpose has not. We fought the crown for our liberty, our right to self govern, now we fight the activist judges and the left for the same.
This book has opened my eyes to the truth of our founding fathers and the document(s) they created to help protect us from our worst enemy, ourselves and the government we elect. The miss use of the constitution is treason of the highest degree, yet the elite are allowed to continue, because they, not the constitution, define the "law of the land"!
America, wake up and smell the tea in the Boston harbor. We fought a revolution to free ourselves from tyranny, yet we allow our judges and the political left to continue the assault…!
What are we thinking?
This book should be required reading in our high schools, if we are to reclaim our liberties we need to re-educate our youth on the truths of the founding fathers and the documents they created. I beg each and everyone one you you, regardless of your political leanings to read this book, and discover for yourselves what the founders meant by the words of the Constitution of the United Sates of America.
