The Drama… Part 3

Here is an update, with more to come later…

As anyone who has been reading my blog knows, I have taken in a young man from Africa. His mother lives in the state and allowed him to move in, to give him a chance to do good. As I have also stated there are two other children involved, two younger brothers who were living with the mother. According to her, the mother, the father of her two children was not a nice man and wanted nothing to do with his kids. But as time went on, we found out that this was not the case. He is a nice man and does want his kids.

So here it is…

Last weekend the older of the two younger brothers spent the weekend at his dads. A reasonable thing to do… One would think. Well come to find out, the mother was not at all to happy with this, so on Monday morning she refused to take him to school, she took the youngest but not him. Her reason, he, the older of the two, was the devil. He was the devil because he decided to spend the weekend with his own dad, whom he loves. Very odd, very sad and very scary.

So as I write this the oldest of the two is currently living with his dad, the dad is talking to a lawyer to get the youngest. As I talked to the dad, we both stated our fears for the safety of the youngest, the mother is unstable, at best!

As for the one I have, well today is his big day, he has court today for his probation. But his case worker is also going to use this court day to try to get permanent guardianship in my name. We are fighting the mother over this issue. So we will see… I will have updates on this drama, my hope is that the next one will be the last, that all will be settled.

This coming Tuesday, November 2, 2010 is Election Day… Get out and vote! Make your voices heard! This is the time to take back what is ours, our government and our country… VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
